The music ministry at FBCN exists to provide opportunities for spiritual growth through music in worship services, and to provide music training for all age groups. A strong emphasis is placed upon the importance of traditional hymns and contemporary praise services. In our services, we attempt to blend both of these worthy forms of worship. Our various choirs and ensembles are described in more detail in the following paragraphs.

Provides service music for the traditional Sunday morning service and other service events as needed. Presents the Singing Christmas tree six times each December. Presents Easter musical and patriotic musical in alternating years. Open to all interested, 18 years and older. Rehearsals each Wednesday evening, year around. Child care is provided for all choir events.

Provides music for most Sunday evening services and other community events as needed. Presents two musicals per year. Normally takes a choir mini-tour (3 days) each year. Open to all interested 6th - 12th grade youth. Rehearsals each Sunday afternoon, September - June.

Music training program for children, grades 4 and 5. Provides service music for Sunday morning service twice per year. Presents one children's choir musical each year, and normally participates in the Singing Christmas Tree. Participates in Florida Baptist Convention Young Musicians Festival and Camp. Meets each Wednesday evening. September - June.

Music training program for children, grades 1 - 3. Provides services music for Sunday morning service twice per year. Together with Young Musicians, presents one children's choir musical each year, and normally participates in the Singing Christmas Tree. Meets each Wednesday evening, September - June.

Music training program for 2, 3, 4 & 5 years old. Open to all interested. Meets each Wednesday evening, September - June.

Ladies performance ensemble. Open to interested ladies. Church membership is required. Provides service music about every six weeks, alternating morning & evening. Rehearsals each Sunday afternoon, September - June. Enrollment is limited.

A mixed adult performance ensemble. Membership is limited to 6. Provides service music about every six weeks, alternating morning and evening. Active church and Worship Choir membership and participation required. Rehearsals each Wednesday evening, year round.

Instrumental performance ensemble playing level 4-5 band/orchestral music. Accompanies Worship Choir on Sunday mornings and Singing Christmas Tree, and provides service music for Sunday morning and other service events as needed. Open to all interested players with two or more years of playing experience.

Rhythm performance ensemble which provides service music for Sunday evening services. Focus on drums, guitars, keyboards. Meets each Sunday evening for rehearsal and for the service, year around. Enrollment is limited.

Adult ladies handbell ensemble. Open to interested female music readers, 18 and older. Provides service music about every six weeks, alternating morning and evening. Meets each Wednesday evening, September - June. Enrollment is limited.

Mixed youth handbell ensemble. Open to interested music readers, 9th - 12th grade. Provides service music about every six weeks, alternating morning and evening. Meets each Wednesday afternoon, September - June. Enrollment is limited.

Select vocal and instrumental ensemble. Provides music leadership for the Sunday morning service. Rehearsals each Thursday evening, year around. Audition required.
